On Friday June 15th, I fished Lake Geneva with Spence Petros, guide, Freshwater Fishing Hall of Famer, 25 year editor of Fishing Facts Magazine. Spence went to Austin High School, three years after me. The weather was warm and the fishing was good.
We caught two dozen bass, mostly largemouth and a few smallmouth, 50 rock bass, half a dozen bluegills and a couple of perch. We used small, drop-shot finesse plastic worms. We fished several spots but mostly we were fishing near the town of Lake Geneva. We saw bass beds everywhere in 18 feet to three feet of water. We started at 6:30 AM and quit at 2:30.
Thanks Harry.
(FYI - Harry just returned from Gates Au Sable Lodge club trip on Wed before doing this trip...Way to go Harry!)
