2020 Midwest Fly Fishing Shows

This is a listing of fly fishing shows that are scheduled for 2020.   


Most of these shows offer fly fishing presentations, demonstrations and exhibits by local, regional
and nationally known personalities, manufacturers, and retailers.  These shows provide opportunities
to learn about fly fishing and other outdoor activities. Some of the listed shows haven’t announced
their schedules, speakers, programs, etc.  Make sure you check show websites to confirm show
programs, etc., when planning to attend any of them. 


Be sure to support the important fundraising efforts at these shows.


Spring Opener – Badger Fly Fishers
Date:  February 11, 2020
Location:  American Family Insurance Training Center, 6000 American Parkway, Madison, WI
Sponsor: Badger Fly Fishers
Speakers/Program: Bob Clouser giving two presentations.  One presentation will be “Bass,
Both Species, Top to Bottom” and the other is “Clouser’s Top Tips”.  The event also includes
20+ fly tyers providing helpful tying instruction, a trade show with 20 or more vendors,
a chance to win a wide assortment of fly fishing related materials in bucket raffles and
a silent auction providing a chance to bid on all things fly fishing.  


2020 Fort Wayne Fly Show
Date: Feb February 15, 2020
Sponsor: Three Rivers Fly Fishers 
Speakers/Program: The 2020 show will feature guest speakers as well as vendors and tyers from
around the tri-state area.

Midwest Fly Fishing Expo (the granddaddy of fly fishing shows)
Date: March 14 - 15, 2020
Location: Macomb Community College Sports & Expo Center, Warren, MI
Sponsor: Michigan Fly Fishing Club 
Speakers/Program: The show will feature 5 headline speakers, dozens of free seminars
about fly fishing techniques, dozens of fly tying demonstrations, and more than
120 exhibitors including fly fishing related retailers, rod and net builders, artists, guides,
outfitters and conservation organizations. 
Show has demonstrations and programs on fly tying, fly casting, fly fishing seminars and
more in 61,000 square feet of exhibition space.
