Fox Valley TU Cabin Fever Day

Mark, Mel and I decided to hit the road for Appleton, WI to check out the Fox Valley Trout Unlimited Cabin Fever Day. We had a good time listening to speakers, watching various fly tiers and talking to several guides and shop owners. After the show we decided to trek over to check out Tight Lines Fly Fishing shop in De Pere, WI. This place is loaded with all your fly fishing needs, including numerous guides. We talked to Charlie for about a 1/2 hour regarding the local area for trout fishing and purchased some tying materials. Charlie also recommended Nicky's Lionhead Restaurant in downtown De Pere. The food was excellent, large portions and nice staff. On our journey back home, Mark and I stopped off to show Mel our numerous fishing spots along the Milwaukee River. It was a great time.
