On Tuesday night I saw the weather forecast for Wednesday March 14th to be 79 degrees with SW wind gusts up to 30mph. Knowing from past experience, I placed my fly fishing duffel in my trunk because this was perfect Crappie and Bass weather. I knew the Crappie would be stacked at the north end of the pond just outside the waves. Wednesday I was out of work at 2pm and it was off to my favorite pond. The pattern that worked the best was a Bead-Headed Black Bunny Leech tossed into the wind and stripped back slowly with the current. It was a great day.
