After a year and a half, Bass The Movie is available on DVD. The 2-disc DVD features the full-length of the movie of a California road trip in search of trophy bass with conventional bass pros and fly rod pros. Disc-2 includes a Bill Dance retrospective interview compiled from Jamie’s Howard’s two days visiting Bill Dance in Memphis.
The project took over a year to complete and features Simms rep John Sherman, CA Delta pro Bobby Barrack, Captain Kevin Doran, Mark Mitrany and world record holders Larry Kurosaki (fly rod) and Raymond Easley — as well as some familiar angler faces from ESPN’s BASS Elite Series anglers. The 2-disc DVD is now available through Howard Films website: www.howardfilms.com for retails for $35.00, and includes footage shot in southern California clear-water reservoirs and the endangered waters of the famed California Delta in the north, and yes, a couple fish that will make an angler’s heart jump in any part of the world.
