Pete Hlavin, myself and five friends spent September 7 through September 13, 2006 at a hunting camp in northern Quebec. The hunting camp was south of Ungava Bay, Quebec at about the 58th parallel. At the time of our hunt there were eight (8) additional hunters in camp. The hunt was through Sammy Cantafio's, Ungava Adventures. We all were able to harvest two (2) bull caribou. One of our friends took a bull which will very likely make the Boone & Crockett record book. We also fished for and caught Lake Trout and Arctic Char. We also went Ptarmigan hunting and were able to bag some.
