A few weeks ago NIFTy members Mark LoVerde and Jim Gould went to
DuPage Fly Fishing Co. in Naperville to check out
Blackwater Fly Fishing's presentation on fly fishing the Wisconsin River. Abe Downs (Blackwater Fly Fishing Owner) was tied flies and then gave a presentation about the amazing fishery they guide on. Abe provided Point Beer from his sponsor, which we enjoyed. Mark, Jim and three other members of NIFTy recently booked a guided trip with Abe to float down the Wisconsin river to chase Smallmouth Bass in June. Mark and Jim attended this event to see and hear more about Blackwater Fly Fishing and the Wisconsin River fishery near Stephens Point, Wisconsin. It was educational and everyone had a great time.
