Jason Hearle, the Manager of the Orvis Store in Yorktown Mall, located in Lombard, IL, has invited NIFT members and friends to a special event they are having on Wednesday, July 24th (6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.).
Robert Thompson, Chicago based filmmaker who produced the "Night of the Hex", "Heart of the Driftless" and "Musky Country" DVD's, is the guest speaker. Rob will show clips of his movies and share behind-the-scenes information about how they are produced and filmed. Check out Rob's website "Third Year Fly Fisher" to see clips from his great films. There will be food and beverages at this event. Also, several NIFT members will be demonstrating how to tie various flies.
