Bassin' Around on the Milwaukee River

Dick D. wrote;
Here are a couple of photos and note about bass fishing on the Milwaukee River...might fit into the NIFT blog. Water level on the Milwaukee River have finally dropped to wadable levels. Bass are waiting to be caught. Friend and I fished it last week. Here is a photo of a nice bass he caught on a deer hair mouse pattern. Later in the day he almost landed a nice pike, but it cut the line before he got it in the net. So, if anyone catches a pike with an olive Bad Hair Day fly stuck in its mouth the fly belongs to me. Please return it at the next NIFT meeting. Photo of one of my bass on another day. It was caught on a Steve Winters style pencil popper. Hope all is well.
