The One Fly contest is at Lily Lake in Lakemoor on Sunday June 6 from 7am to 12 noon. Sign up between 7am and 8am and fishing til noon. No rain date. Attendees should plan on seeing Pete H. at the lake before 8am start time to get written rules and score card. No fees. Illinois fishing license required. Canoe or belly boat recommended but fishing from shore is ok too.
The Year End Dinner is at 7pm Monday June 7 at Champps in Schaumburg. If you did not pay at the last meeting, email Ed M. if you are attending the dinner. The cost is $10.00 at the door. There will be a raffle for a free Scientific Angler fly line of the winners choice. There will be snacks and a cash bar. Don't forget the NIFT tradition of bringing 6 flies you tied for the Fly Swap!
