Attached is a picture of a tarpon (~15lbs) that I caught last week at Playa Blanca in the Mexican Yucatan. Fishing was a little slow due to fronts moving through, but I caught bones everyday, about a half dozen snook, and "stuck" 3 or 4 tarpon, landing the one in the picture. Permit were not on the bite, but I got to cast to 6 or 8 of them. Only one landed in camp all week.
