During an Orvis event, NIFT member Dick D. met Nick Volk and Todd Opsal who recently opened “On The Creek ” fly shop in Cross Plains, Wisconsin. Nick and Todd gave a presentation on fly fishing the Driftless Area to a Milwaukee based fishing club.
With over 40 years of fishing experience between them they know the best fly fishing/tying equipment and supplies to stock for their customers. For example, they have Scott and Cortland rods, Bauer reels, Climax and Rio lines, leaders, tippets, William Joseph and Fishpond packs, Montana Fly Company flies, tying materials, books and more to come. Custom bamboo rods made on site by Paul J. Julius. They also have plenty of up to date fishing condition information.
