We had the opportunity to get to the Milwaukee one more time before all of the ice moved in. We fished all day with spawn since swinging flies with the two hander was out of the question with all of the ice. Towards the end of the day we went to a spot we know always holds fish. The problem we discovered when we arrived was that a sheet of ice covered this area from bank to bank. Corey set off as an ice breaker and set a huge chuck of ice adrift. After a short break, he proceeded to catch 3 steelies.
