Fall Chrome ( and a Coho)

There are few things finer than a beautiful autumn day on the river with your best buddy and the double hander swinging for steelhead. The air temperature was 50 degrees and the salmon chasers were in the low water chasing the Kings. We hit all of our favorite runs and it felt good to test out the new Skagit line. Spey casting is like anything worth learning, it takes patience, time and dedication to become proficient. It also helps to have someone who fishes with you that is damn good! The drive home was filled with stories from the days adventures and we always look forward to stopping for a hot cup of joe to take the chill off.
