Musky on the Fly with Guide Brad Bohen

Brad is the owner operator of The Afton Angler and will speak on the Musky opportunities near Hayward, Wisconsin. Brad has been featured in Fly Fish America and appears in Robert Tomes’ new book Musky on the Fly. After Brad’s presentation, he will sit at the vise and spin out a couple of his favorite patterns.
Magic Musky Flies with Bill Sherer
Thursday, February 15, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Bill owns We Tie It in Boulder Junction, WI and will be here demonstrating some of his Magic Musky flies. We had a packed house the last time Bill was here and we hope to see some new faces.
Midwest Smallmouth Triple Header
With Kip Vieth, Tim Landwehr and Sleazy Steve
Sunday, March 11, 2007 from 10:00 until 4 :00 p.m.
First up will be Kip from Wildwood Float Trips who guides anglers in his gorgeous Clackacraft down the Upper Mississippi, Rum, Kettle and St. Croix rivers for Smallies.
Next up will be Tim Landwehr from Tight Lines Fly Shop in De Pere, Wisconsin and he will talk about the fabulous Smallmouth floats he does on the Menomonee and Oconto rivers in the far Northeast part of Wisconsin.
Finally, a fly tying and popper building event with Sleazy Steve Winters from Reedsburg, Wisconsin. Steve will be demonstrating how he cuts and forms his unique popper heads out of foam for Bass, Pike and Musky. All of Steve’s patterns can be used effectively on trips with Brad, Kip and Tim.
